Long-term options for the EU’s climate policy mix – results from the CECILIA2050 project

On the 13th October, the Ecologic Institute organizes a final CECILIA2050 workshop to discuss the results of the multiannual research project. Experts from the Ecologic Institute will first talk about the potentials of the current EU policy mix with regard to climate change mitigation and then present the major challenges for the EU’s climate policy, with a long-term perspective to 2050. In the second part of the workshop, climate policy experts from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Öko‐Institut will present their views on the EU’s current climate policy mix and discuss options for its further development.
