Date:

20 February 2013

Location:

Aqua Hotel, Rue de Stassart 43, 1050 Bruxelles

The CECILIA2050 project invites you to attend a one-day workshop in Brussels to
discuss its analysis of the existing instrument mix in European climate policy, in
particular

  • What factors determine the performance of climate policy instruments?
  • How should the performance of climate policy instruments be assessed, and what would an optimal climate policy look like?
  •  How do policy instruments work in interaction, and how can their interaction be managed to improve climate policies as a whole?
  • Which changes and reforms are necessary for the current European climate policy instrument mix to guide the transformation to a low-carbon economy?
